late night boredom

Bit of a boring day - just hung out with Mum in the morning (while we did nothing, it's always a nice thing to do!), then worked in the afternoon.

Currently listening to Battle. No, not Battles, just the one! Check it out, they're good ol' fashioned British rock. Previously though, was a wee bit of Dallas Green and before that, was Melody Gardot. Talk about random, iTunes!

Sorry for being boring recently, I'm currently in the middle of a huge creative block. By that I mean I'm dealing with hugely intense feelings, and by that I mean I'm blocking it all out. By all this I am of course, insinuating I have become a boring person in order to sort through my incredibly not-boring life and come out the other side alive. Or kicking. Either way.

Gonna try and get to sleep before 12 tonight. Only got an hour, but I can do it baby! Meanwhile, I shall give you a couple of things to think about..

I am in love with this girl - she has everything I want! Ok that makes me sound a bit lesbian. I meant in a purely materialistic way.. her clothes / rings are to diiie for! (ps. she is from purse n boots and I found her on Tattoologist)

I really want another tattoo, whether or not I regret it afterwards, I dont care

After a rather slow start to the morning (I didnt actually put any clothes on till 11), I've had a rather lovely few hours. Captain and I travelled to the post-office to pick up a pair of earrings I'd ordered from ASOS, and then I grabbed a coffee before coming home again to relax for 45 minutes before going to work. And by relax I do, of course, mean shop! Anthropologie is another online shop I've recently become obsessed with. Two of my very chic cousins have been wearing it for years, but I've only just come across the website. And let me tell you.. it is to die for!

The weather is crazy at the moment - verging on apocalyptic. *Touch wood* 


Captain is snuggling into me on the couch because the fire just won't start! And I accidentally just ordered a pair of $60 glasses from Urban Outfitters. WHOOPSIES!!

sunday afternoon stroll

A little update as to what is going on in my life..

Took Captain for a walk around the lake this afternoon after finishing work, with Mum and my brother. It was incredibly windy and fresh, but there was this beautiful light reflecting off the water that I just couldn't resist taking a photo of!

Was interesting working on 4 hours sleep and then taking the dog for a walk immediately afterwards. I kinda crashed when I got home - my hangover didn't help the situation either! Quite a tame night in all regards however, I'm starting to wonder if we are growing up after all!

rainy days

As usual on a rainy weekend, I am sitting next to the fire scrolling through many many blogs and cuddling my beautiful Captain..

Isn't he just beautiful!

He's taken to cleaning himself like a cat, and after having a run around outside with his friend Patrick from next door, has curled up in front of the fire and is now licking his paws. Unfortunately he smells disgusting due to being rather rained upon.

Tonight is a lovely friend's party - however the weather is looking more and more miserable - so rugging up is going to be the way to go! I am thinking huuge scarf, stockings, boots and a jumper (over my lovely dress I bought yesterday which will unfortunately be obscured by the many other layers I will be wearing).

Anyway, I've found this again Rockstar Diaries - which by the way is amazing! I hope I'll be that fashionable when I'm a mum!

Have also become slightly too addicted to both Asos and Urban Outfitters. On the lookout for cute dresses and flowery headbands. I shall leave you all with this to think about. Love xxx
